Taylor's University College Malaysia offers Scholarship for Bangladeshi Students

Taylor's University College, a 42 year old renowned Institute of Malaysia offering number of Majors with credit transfer facilities to local and international students, is going to introduce its Scholarship Programme for the deserving Bangladeshi students from next year, 2008. Mr. Hoh Lee Cen, Manager International Marketing of Taylor's University College revealed this vision of his institute to Star Campus on Wednesday night in Dhaka. He informed that Taylor's have an Annual Budget of USD 2 million for the worldwide scholarship programme and they have already introduced such scholarship programme for the students in Vietnam and China and received very encouraging response from both the authorities and students of these countries. Taylor's programs are well received with wide recognition by top ranked Universities from Australia, France, The United Kingdom & The United States.

Mr. Hoh Lee Cen said that the Scholarship for Bangladesh will be named "Taylor's Nobodigonto Scholarship Programme" and brilliant academic record holding Bangladeshi students will benefit from the Scholarship Programme but he cautioned that the applicants have to go through careful scrutiny process at home and in Malaysia before they are given admission. Among the subjects for which candidates may apply include BBA, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Computer Science, IT, Architecture etc.

For smooth operation of the Scholarship Programme in Bangladesh, Taylor's University College has appointed Mr. Tarek Mollah (Mobile: +88 01714 110 588, e-Mail: tarek.mollah@yahoo.com), a Senior Consultant with many years experience in student affairs as Taylor's Scholarship Coordinator in Bangladesh. He will be involved in running the programme in entire Bangladesh from distribution of forms to selection/interview and then on to completing admission formalities.

Taylor's University College will publish a series of articles and press releases on the Scholarship Programme before formally inaugurating it in 2008 and with regular highlights during the Scholarship Application process.
