Dual Touch-Screen Laptop hits the markets!

Pennsylvania (USA) based Estari has developed a patented dual-screen laptop computer (originally for the U.S. military) and is now selling its wares to the public. The specs of its "2-VU" model aren't all that noteworthy a 1.83 GHz Intel Dual Core processor, 1GB of memory, a 60GB hard drive and no conventional keyboard or mouse, according to sources. But what makes it special, of course, are its two 15-inch touch-screen displays.

Might prove to be a great idea to read the newspaper this way, but deciding that is totally up to the user. It costs $4,350 (BDT 304500), equivalent to a lifetime supply of the actual newspapers!

The Torpedo Projector

Although the Torpedo Entertainment Projector probably isn't a good choice to form the cornerstone of your home theatre, but for a measly $179 (BDT 12530) the 920 x 240-resolution projector's not a bad way to frighten your buddies with a nearly 6-foot high image of Frankenstein slapped across your wall when it's really dark. Since it comes with a headphone jack in addition to the built-in amp, the only noise would be their screaming, much to your enjoyment. The real question is how well it'd perform with the middling resolution and other such features!
