Textile Talent Hunt in its 2nd Season

Every year Integrated Research, Development and Promotion Service provider “Amin and Jahan Corporation” organises the competition called Textile Talent Hunt for undergraduate students studying textile, garment or fashion designing. Recently the second season of this competition has been launched. This year, UK based multinational, Intertek Consumer Goods, was the title sponsor of the competition. International publication of the organiser Amin and Jahan Corporation, “Bangladesh Textile Today (BTT)”, was another title sponsor of the competition. This one of a kind competition was titled “Intertek-BTT Textile Talent Hunt 2010” under the slogan “Electrify in Revealing Your Excellence”.

Textile Talent Hunt is an example of how a ray of light can trigger an entire movement. It is an initiative of Bangladesh Textile Today, which is organised in association with Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), The Textile Institute (Manchester,UK) and College of Textile Technology. It has changed the targets and learning process of the textile-garment students. The competition welcomes a huge community of students and is changing their lives and their approach towards their career. They have been introduced to the techno trade changes and developments in a very systematic, interesting way. Textile professionals of tomorrow are going to rock the industry with this changed approach. A number of students are undergoing research and dealing with their academic activities with a new approach. The great success of Textile Talent Hunt 2009 has led the organisers to begin the 2nd season with a bigger coverage and a far more superior focus.
