Ambassador of Norway to Bangladesh visits schools in Sylhet

Ragne Birte Lund, Ambassador of Norway to Bangladesh visited UCEP-Hafiz Mazumdar Sylhet Technical School and UCEP- Baluchor Feeder School on December 23, 2010. M. Mohiuzzaman, Director Programmes of UCEP-Bangladesh welcomed the Ambassador of Norway to Bangladesh on her arrival at UCEP-Hafiz Mazumdar Sylhet Technical School, Sylhet. Mohiuzzaman gave a brief presentation on UCEP programmes at the conference room of UCEP-Regional Complex. Engr. Mohammad Guljar Hossain, Regional Coordinator of UCEP Sylhet Region, Engr. Mohd. Abdul Mannan, Manager (Technical) and Motaher Ali Miah, Manager (Administration and Resource Mobilization) of UCEP Bangladesh were present in the meeting.

Ragne Birte Lund visited all the class room, workshop, group teaching of students, Computer Learning Center, vocational classes, remedial classes, and their activities in the UCEP-Sylhet Technical and Baluchor Feeder School. Lund also talked with UCEP graduates who are successful in their respective areas of work. UCEP has a lot of contribution to enhance the national system of vocational training in Bangladesh.
