Amar Ekushey Boi Mela

Young Readers at the Boi Mela

At the Amar Ekushey Boi Mela, the weekend mornings become a haven for children and young readers. Moving from one book stall to another, children, teenagers and young students from all walks of life sort through books and choose their favourite authors. Starting from Sukumar Ray's tales, poetry, Mohd Zafar Iqbal's science fiction to collections of children's stories, most of the book stalls make sure that they cater to the young readers along with the adults. Besides, some publication houses, like every year, have brought out translations of foreign folk tales, children's stories from other countries and also folk tales from Bangladesh as well, namely, Tuitumbur, Patabahaar, Adorn Books for Children, World of Children's Books and many more.
