There are times when all of a sudden, amusement parks are no longer amusing. I thought so myself a couple of times but I was proved wrong. Maybe the long drive and the traffic tend to ruin the whole thought of going to one of our amusement parks, but none the less, all is worthwhile when you get to ride the Magic Carpet and scream your lungs out, no matter how old you are. Yes! I am talking about Fantasy Kingdom! We've all been there and people who haven't yet -- well if you are satisfied with Wonderland then Fantasy Kingdom would be paradise for you. Lately, they have started something totally new for not only kids but people of all ages. They call it the 'Xtreme Racing'. It's also called go - karting and right now it has hit the top of my list of favourite rides at the theme park. Not only are the

cars great but the track is also amazing. And they give you three sets of karts to choose from. For the kids, they mostly prefer the kart with maximum speed of 45km/h while for us adults, they suggest the one with a maximum speed of 60 km/h and if you are not satisfied with that then there is the one with 80km/h which is just crazy! There is also a two-seater kart where you can take a friend along for the ride. The track is around 900 meters long and has very sharp turns and slopes at every corner, so there is very less room for cruising or sight-seeing throughout the race. The adrenaline rush is just off the hook with every drift, sharp turn and over taking. You'll feel the rush flowing soon as the wheels start to turn. 'Xtreme Racing' also holds a tournament at the end of every month where you can participate by becoming a member. Other organisations also book the place for tournaments for students. The place has a cosy fast food store for hangout after an exciting race. For more information on 'Xtreme Racing' you can visit their website (www.xtremeracingbd.com) and get all the details on their karts, packages and membership deals. For the ones who are scared of racing -- chill! There's nothing to be scared of. The authorities provide all the safety precautions that you would need. And go-karts NEVER flip over as some tend to feel, so rest assured that you are safe from any major accident. If you and your buddies are looking for some adventure, just save up some cash from your after-class 'gigs' and head out to 'Xtreme Racing' and have that adrenaline-pumping fun! It'll be a day you all will remember for a very long time!
