Silly Tales

A Hairy Incident

When I was in school I used to be a bully. I would not just pick on a couple of selected 'weak' students in my class, I would pick on ALL of them, despite their size!

There was a girl in my class who was rather big in size, Farhana. She had really long hair and she was very proud of it. She used to boast around about what people said about her hair and how she thinks she has better hair than most of ours. It really used to irritate me. One day, I walked into class right after break, chewing a whole lot of gum. Being aware of the fact that we had a free period right after break, I knew there would not be any teacher in class for quite a while. I took the wad of gum and stuck it on Farhana's hair without her noticing. After around 15 minutes a girl noticed it and screamed it out to Farhana. She went ballistic and she had to chop a whole bunch of hair off! Even though she cried for quite a while after she had to do that and I felt bad for a moment, it sure stopped her from being all 'superior' about her hair…even if it was just for a month or two.

Far Too Back

This incident has nothing to do with what I did and whatever happened was not anyone else's fault either but it sure was hilarious to watch. A lot of my friends and I had the habit of tilting backwards on our chair during class. The teachers used to get very angry at us and so did my mother when I used to do the same at home. Slowly, I had quit the habit and so had many of my other friends due to the mini heart attacks we would get every time the chair would tilt far too back. One of my friends, Jessica, on the other hand, had not given the habit up. One day, during class, she tilted her chair backwards and had her head turned around towards us to be able to talk to us. Suddenly she lost balance and she had this obnoxious look of horror on her face when she realised she was not being able to pull herself forward and before any of us could get up and hold her, there was a loud thud on the ground. Even SHE had burst out laughing lying on the floor!

The Power Puff Girls

After a long time, reminiscing the golden moments of the past feels amazing. When I was in Play Group about twelve years ago, I had two best friends who were boys. We were extremely good friends and the three of us were very close to each other. One of us looked like a fat potato, the other looked like a 'chocobar' (the ice cream) and I, the only girl, was quite tom boyish. Power Puff Girls was one of the most famous cartoon series at that time. Thus we, the three best friends, would always try and somehow connect ourselves to the cartoon. The potato guy was Blossom, the 'chocobar' guy was Buttercup and I was Bubbles. The two boys would not really watch the cartoon but used to just play along with me until, we grew up. After growing older they realised that they had been playing little girl cartoon characters when they were younger. We had the best laugh at this after all this time.
