Silly Tales

Bang!

It's something that happened when I used to live in Dubai. We used to go for a family outing to different resturants every weekend. One such day, we all planned to have dinner at Pizza Hut. The doors of Pizza Hut were made of glass and they looked like they were open and you could just enter. So my mother, who was walking while talking to us, did not notice the "push" sign at the door. She just tried to enter the restaurant while the glass door was still closed. She bumped her head badly but it was quite funny. The waiters, who noticed this incident, brought some ice for my mother thinking she might have hurt her head very badly, but fortunately she had not. When we reserved a table for us and sat to eat, we laughed because even if my mother had hurt her head it was really funny. My mother was laughing out loud herself thinking she had made a total Mr Bean out of herself!

Holy Water Incident

This happened during the third year at my university in my class room. With minutes remaining for our painfully boring class to start, my friend suddenly said something about a class party and it struck life into all of us! The committee to organise this party was discussed during class as none of us were paying attention! My responsibility was to manage the soft drink for everyone. After lunch, at the party, everyone started asking for the soft drinks. That was when I realised that most of the bottles of soft drinks that I had bought were already empty! I was very confused about what to do so I asked for some help from a friend of mine. I had some Holy Water that my uncle had bought from Saudi Arabia, so my friend suggested that I tell the people at the party the story of the Holy Water so that they want to drink it! Surprisingly, the holy water was all finished within in a several minutes!

Just Disgusted!

When I was in Singapore, I studied in Delhi Public School. When I was there, I always used to travel, to and from school, by bus. We used to call the man who drove the bus, 'bus uncle'. One day, I was going back home, on our bus, from school and, while I was talking to my friends, I saw a cockroach right there wriggling around on front of me. I screamed, “COCKROACH!” and, suddenly, our 'bus uncle' came and held the cockroach by its antenna and took it out side. He, then, ordered a soup from a nearby restaurant and dipped the cockroach and, I can't believe I am saying this but, HE ATE IT! I can't even describe how it felt to watch him do that. My stomach churned! We were all extremely sickened! It was the most disgusting thing I had ever seen and I'm never going to forget it!
