One of the favourite things of the people of this generation is to feel completely head over heels about fast food. Well who can blame them? There's nothing much to do in the city, other than going to a restaurant or a nice fast food joint and with all those classes, presentations and part time jobs in our way, we often don't have the time to eat decent meal. So that's where fast food saves the day.

The fast food scenario has grown a lot in the years. But some has accomplished to satisfy and be popular among the customers. And one of those is none other than Quick Bite. Though it has been a couple of since it opened but it is already very popular among the youth. It's a small food joint located in Shimanto Square, Dhanmondi. But don't judge its small outlook because the food there is mind blowing.

Mouth watering ingredients and toppings.

Unlike other restaurants, Quick Bite has a very selective menu to ensure quality food to the customers. Items on the menu are different types of sandwiches made from bbq chicken, grilled, beef and roasted beef. They cost around 130 to 160 Tk depending on whether you're going to order regular or special. Along with the sandwiches they also provide sugar cane juice and ice cream. The juice will cost 70 Tk and ice creams are regular 100 Tk and premium 150 Tk.

Another great thing about this food joint is there timing. It opens up at 2:30 pm, just in time for lunch and closes at 9:30 to 10:00 pm so that you can get a mouth watering sandwich to go on your way home. Their peak hours are mostly from the afternoon till 8:00-8:30 pm.

Quick Bite has lived up to the name fast food, because it is a take away eatery, as fast food was really meant to be. And they prepare the food really fast too so you don't have to wait a long time to get your stomach happy.

Students love the grilled beef and the BBQ slices.

People, especially the students come here often for those delicious grilled beef or the BBQ chicken slices placed between two fresh sandwich buns along with cheese, mayonnaise, tomato, onions, lettuce etc. So imagine after all those classes and lectures how would you feel if you can get a bite of this piece of heaven in a bun. And it's quite cheap so you don't have to save up your allowance for this.

Quick Bite located at Simanto Square, Dhanmondi.

Dhanmondi as we know is the common ground of O 'level and A 'level coaching classes standing along with a lot of universities and colleges. You will see most of people walking around in Dhanmondi are students in their tired faces coming from classes and lectures. Quick Bite is one of the places where students look forward to go after their classes. Adib Rahman, a student of O 'level at Mastermind says, “Quick Bite is the place where my friends and I always go after school. We are regular customers there, literally. We go everyday!”

On the other hand, Sanjana Rahaman, a student MSJ in ULAB, says, “I eat here a lot with my friends and class mates. And the item that we always order is the special grilled beef sandwich. We think it is to die for. Plus, it is really difficult to find a food joint which has a hygienic kitchen and in here you can see the kitchen with your own eyes along with all the fresh ingredients.” Hassan M Chowdhury, one of the owners of Quick Bite says, “Business is quite good. We are very happy with how things are going. And in the future we want to open up outlets in some center places of Dhaka”

So if you're looking for a mouth watering meal in your busy life, then Quick Bite is the one for you!
