Thank you, Dr. Yunus

Samantha Saberin

We were waiting, waiting and waiting for the day when the whole world would know “Bangladesh” for a positive and noble reason. The day has finally arrived to celebrate and to be proud of. We are no corruption champion to be known by the world, we are a peace-loving nation, which is trying to get rid of all the drawbacks and failures.

Thanks to the Almighty God and Dr. Muhammad Yunus of “ Grameen Bank” we got the recognition of the world proving that we have succeeded to an extent in getting some of our problems sorted out. The Nobel Prize has given us inspiration and a huge responsibility to keep this honour unhindered by our noble works for the country in future.

Dr. Yunus has shown us the way, it's not going to be easy but it is not impossible to do great things for this country. So, I thank Dr. Yunus for giving us the tremendous moment of glory that is going to help the youth of the nation to think and do something good for the country. I thank Dr. Yunus for thinking about the poor and giving them the opportunity to survive. I thank Dr. Yunus for his noble work and enthusiasm for doing good to people. I thank Dr. Yunus for writing the name of this country in the history books of mankind. I thank Dr. Yunus for giving us the pride to be called as a peace-loving nation.

I thank Dr. Yunus for the wonderful effort to make the “Cycle of poverty” a history. And last but not least I thank Almighty God for making Dr. Muhammad Yunus one of us!
