Art Exhibition of
Chittagong Charukola Institute
The first Art Exhibition of Charukola Institution under Chittagong University was held recently. The students tried their level best to display their talent throughout their works.

The art works created throughout the whole year with profound earnestness and care were exhibited. Through their creativity they tried to present their artistic feelings, delighted perception and likings. Thus the yearly exhibition inspired the artists and students to go a long way for success.
The Chancellor Professor Dr Md Alauddin inaugurated the weeklong exhibition from May 29 to June 5, 2011. The Dean of Arts Faculty Professor Dr Golam Kibria Bhuiyan was the special guest.
The programme was chaired by artist Mansur-Ul- Karim and the Director of the Charukola Institute, Artist Md Jashim Uddin also delivered his valuable speech.
Additionally, more than hundred students displayed their experimental works in this exhibition. Around 12 students from different mediums were awarded. A student of 4th year Manzur-ul- Alam got the artist Rashid Chowdhury prize. The other awarded artists were: Syed Md.Rabiul Hosain (M.A.), Fakiha Nizati (4th year), Irfanul Huq in video (4th year), Sohrab Hossain for sculpture (2nd year), Tiklu Dey for water color medium (1st year), Tamima Sultana, Mamur Ahsan Mahtab (4th year), S M Islam for drawing (4th year), Md Ibrahim for painting (3rd year), Md Mozahidur Rahman Sarkar for sculpture (1st year), Dibya Alo Chakma for pencil sketch (1st year).
