Still Life Photography Exhibition at EWU

East West University Photography Club organised an exhibition on still life photography on October 16, 2011 at the auditorium of the university.

Professor Ahmed Shafee, Vice Chancellor of East West University (EWU) inaugurated this competition where a total of 30 photographs on various aspects of social life were displayed from among 300 submitted. The Vice Chancellor gave a inspirational speech adressing the students. In his speech, Professor Shafee praised the motivation of the students for such creative activity in line with their higher studies. He also congratulated the participants. He adviced them that they should concentrate on their studies. They should not be distracted by the extra curricular activities, instead, they should maintain a balance.

On the basis of the contents and qualities of the photographs taken by 16 photographers, T M Nafiul Islam Rizon received the first prize while Taseen Anannyan and S M Farhad got second and third prizes respectively. M Sayeed Alam, Deputy Director, and Assistant Professor, Business Administration, club members and participants were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
