Effective communication method and anti-corruption campaign workshop

Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) inspired Committee of Concern Citizens (CCCs), Chittagong Metropolitan to organise a daylong workshop on effective communication method and anti-corruption campaign for its young volunteer group Youth Engagement and Support (YES) on January 15 at Regional Public Administration Training Center (RPATC), Chittagong.

The daylong workshop was inaugurated by Advocate Akhtar Kabir Chowdhury, President, Committee of Concern Citizens (CCCs), Chittagong Metropolitan. The programme was divided into two parts. The first part focused on the basic understanding of communication and advocacy, assessing communication needs, identifying challenges, media communication skills and message development.

The most important part of this workshop was the second session. In this session, the participants were divided into two groups. The first group was provided with three reports published in separate newspapers which were depicting anti-corruption issues and they had to improvise something new from the news in support of the anti-corruption movement of TIB.

The event was facilitated by TIB Outreach and Communication officials Sajjad Hossain, Senior Programme Manager; Shahnaz Momotaz, Programme Manager; Md Wasim Reza Chowdhury, Assistant Programme Manager and Sheikh Sarahjin, Assistant Programme Manager.
