A Great Mistake in Ramadan

I had a friend named Asish in school. One day, in the month of Ramadan, it was very hot and the days were very long but he was still fasting. We got a month long vacation from our school and so he wanted to give me a surprise by coming to my house. He came all the way in this heat and when he entered I requested him, many times to take rest. He didn't listen to me but in return forced me to play games with him. Since he came all the way to my house for me, I felt bad not listening to him. We played different types of games in the field near my house and when it was 5:30 we started heading back to my house on foot. Suddenly, he fainted in the middle of footpath. Then I quickly went to a nearby shop and bought a bottle of water and made him drink it. After some time, when he got his sense back and recognised that I made him drink water during his fast, I became the worst enemy for him. Since then, he hasn't visited me even once. That's why the month of Ramadan always reminds me of him.

Helpful Punishments!

The incident occurred in our Chemistry lab. We went, hurriedly, downstairs to find the best seats so that we could get a clear view of the board and the apparatus. Unfortunately, the 96 cm table was flooded with distilled water. We stood at a distance and showed our teacher. She mistakenly, heard that we, the four of us , spilled the water intentionally. We tried to explain what actually happened but she wouldn't listen. A couple of minutes later, we found out that the supervisor standing right behind us. She called us in the office and detained us in three different ways. We were ordered to count the exact number of bones in the skeleton. Then, fix the molecular models with their proper structures and at last, make an assignment on, at least, 36 different chemical reactions with definition by the next Chemistry lab class. Her detention worked well as the chapters we have now, is about those reactions which we had studied thoroughly earlier. So, we should not be upset if we are punished as, sometimes, punishments are helpful!

Heart Havoc

Well, it was back when I was in grade 8. One of my friends brought a frog, which she found wandering in her home, to school. As soon as we discovered the healthy frog, we went over to our biology teacher. It isn't everyday a teacher finds students begging to show them 'frog dissection'. Trust me, neither would we, but it was more like an adrenaline rush at the time. So we went down to the lab with him, enjoyed watching tiny lungs, liver and heart. But I wasn't satisfied until the tiny heart was in my hand. I took the heart on a tissue paper and was on my vivid adventure of scaring people off. Watching someone carry a blood stained blob of flesh isn't a really beautiful sight. Not that I cared, because I wasn't the victim there. Rather, I was the one having fun scaring juniors and seniors off and enjoying their reactions. A few even jumped out of fear. It had been a 'hearty' day indeed.
