Buses clog intersections Star Report Come to any intersection of the capital and you will face the most grueling task of crossing it. The major reason is that the intersections have become stoppages for public transports. To get more passengers, buses stop haphazardly at junctions, blocking the whole road for other commuters. It is an everyday scene at the intersections of Sonargaon Hotel, Banani, Kakrail, Malibagh, Moghbazar and where not. And as these spots have become bus stoppages, passengers gather there in hundreds blocking the intersections even further and risking their lives. Not only that, intersections have also become taxi and rickshaw stands. The traffic department is very reluctant about the issue. But to improve the city's traffic system, it is necessary to clear intersections of standing vehicles.
