ASK arranged a discussion session for
the Law students in Chittagong

To promote and protect the Human Rights, it is one of the objectives of Ain O Shalish Kendra (ASK) is to create awareness among the people regarding various contemporary issues through its legal aspects. That is why, ASK publishes bulletin in every quarter of a year. It also invites students, human rights activists, and scholars to write about different social and legal issues.

On 6 December, ASK arranged a discussion session at Bishod Bangla premises, Mehedibag, Chittagong to inspire law students to reflect the facts behind the social and legal issues through their creative writings. Around 19 Students from the University of Chittagong, Premier University, University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) attended the session. This programme by ASK intends to inspire some activists who will play the active role in the society through their creative writings on various social and legal issues. In the programme, ASK discussed with the students about the different aspects of law reporting, researching, and finding the facts behind the scene etc. The discussion session was so fruitful that students asked lots of questions regarding the reporting styles into ASK bulletin. At last, the session was ended up with the hope that the attendee will send their writings and findings regularly to the ASK bulletin.

The discussion session was chaired by the Shaheen Akhter, Editor of the ASK Bulletin. The discussion session was also supplemented by the Tabassum Mokhduma, writer of the ASK bulletin by sharing her experiences. Moreover, Mr. Kafil Uddin, Lecturer of the UITS was also presented at the discussion session.
