The Amazing Aloha Kids

On February 11, 2011 the 4th National level Abacus and Mental Arithmetic competition 2011 was organised by ALOHA Bangladesh at the Charukala Kendra, Jatiyo Chitra Shala Plaza of Shilpakala Academy. The guardians and delegates present at the Charukola Kendra of Jatiyo Chitrashala were delighted by the impressive arithmetic skills showcased by the ALOHA children. The young prodigies were asked to solve 70 sums within a time frame of 5 minutes.

State Minister, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Md. Motahar Hossain, MP attended the function as the chief guest while the Founder of Aloha International, Malaysia Loh Mun Sung was present as the special guest.

Over 600 students from 250 different schools from Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and Rajshahi participated in this five-minute competition followed by an award giving ceremony.
