BYLC opens admission for four-month long youth leadership development programme in Dhaka

Dhaka Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC) has launched admissions for its eighth four-month long leadership programme called 'Building Bridges through Leadership Training (BBLT)'. The goal of the programme is to equip college and university students from diverse backgrounds with leadership, problem solving and teamwork skills and to instill in them values of patriotism and active, moral and engaged citizenship.

As the country's first leadership institute, BYLC has pioneered the concept of uniting students from English medium, Bengali medium and Maddrassas and bringing them to a common platform to work together for the development of the community. The leadership curriculum of this four-month long after school programme is highly interactive and draws heavily on leadership courses taught at Harvard University.

BYLC will select 42 students with strong academic background and leadership potential for its eighth program and the US Embassy in Dhaka will full provide scholarship to all the participants to receive the training. Students can apply online at www.bylc.org/apply.
