Orientation For MPH Students At ASAUB

Public Health Department of ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) held an orientation ceremony for its newly enrolled Masters of Public Health (MPH) students of Spring semester-2013 on February 1, 2013 at its conference room. Professor Dr Dalem Ch Barman, Vice Chancellor of ASAUB was the chief guest while Professor Md Muinuddin Khan, Adviser of ASAUB attended the programme as special guest. Professor Dr Md Abdul Bari, Chair, Department of Public Health delivered the welcome speech.The speakers exchanged their views with the newly admitted MPH students on course structure and syllabus of the MPH degree programme. They highlighted job opportunities for MPH degree holders at home and abroad.

BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) organised a twelve-day training programme on Industrial and Labor Law for mid level executives of the RMG units to make them knowledgeable about Labor and Industrial Laws from January 19-31, 2013 at its own campus in Uttara. Experts and renowned professionals of Law and RMG sector conducted the training programme. At the end of the training programme Professor Dr Syed Masud Husain, Vice Chancellor of BUFT gave away certificates among the participants and delivered a concluding speech.

Hazi Misir Ali Degree College organised an orientation programme for newly admitted students and award giving ceremony for the students who had scored GPA 5 and first classes in HSC and degree levels of last two years at its college premises, Delpara, Fatullah, Narayanganj. Alhaz Md Monirul Alam Santu, Founder member of this college and Chairman of Kutubpur Union porishad, was the chief guest. While Alhaj Md Shajahan, Managing Director, Chakdah Re-Rolling Mills Ltd, Md Fazlul Haque and Hazi Abu Taher, members, Governing Body of the college, Md Delour Hossain Chowdury, Teacher Representative of the college were present as special gusets. Md Humayun Kabir Bepary, Principal of the college, welcomed the students and depicted the distinctive nature of his college education and presented a statistical report of successes and achievements of the college.

Country's first and only Department of Multimedia Technology and Creative Arts of Daffodil International University observed “1st year celebration” programme on February 3, 2013 at DIU Auditorium.Professor Dr M Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University was present in the programme as the chief guest. The function was presided over by Mr Md Zaidul Karim , Head Department of MTCA. Creative Film Maker Mr Mostafa Sarwar Farooqi, Actor Mosharraf Karim, Actress Jui Karim, Head of programme Banglavision Mr Shamim Shahed were present in the programme as the special guest. The programme was followed by art exhibition and cultural function where the students staged drama, dance, fashion show and music.
Freshers' Reception at SUB
Newly admitted students of 6th batch of M Pharm of State University of Bangladesh (SUB) recently got reception from their department. Professor Dr Md Abdur Rashid, Former Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka and Adviser, Department of Pharmacy, SUB was present as chief guest while Dr Rebecca Banoo, Head of the Department chaired the programme. Among others Md Masud Rana, Co-ordinator M Pharm; Md Hassan Kawsar, Co-ordintor, B Pharm and Ibrahim Rasel, former student of the Department and production Executive, Renata Limited were spoke on the occasion.

The launching ceremony of Eastern University Journalist Forum (EUJF) held at the university's Arts building seminar room on January 29, 2013. On the occasion, Dhaka University First Correspondent, Columnist, Novelist and Poet Mahbub Talukdar was present as guest of honour while EU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Nurul Islam was present as patron.
On the other hand, others journalist were elected in numerous post.
