Hats off to Rab!
I refer to the press conference organised by the outgoing D.G. of Rab in Dhaka on April 21, 2005, which was covered extensively both in the electronic and print media on 21/04/05 and 22/04/05 respectively.
 
Tigers back in action
Bangladesh will be busy again as they face England in England in a few days.
 
Tax dodging
These things only can happen in Bangladesh. Alleged tax dodgers had their Mercedes Benz and Toyota bulldozed at a railway container terminal in Dhaka.
 
Storming of embassy
Good to see the news that finally, ah, finally, some Bangladeshi people living in Kuwait had the courage to storm the pleasure palace that the embassies of Bangladesh have become in many countries!
 
Poor idea
We came to know that the government has taken a step to involve the local lawmakers in the tax administration.
 
Chuadanga-Kushtia Road
The Chuadanga-Kushtia Road remains busy round the clock. It is linked with various parts of the country including Dhaka. Hundreds of light to heavy vehicles ply this road.
