Exchanging Experience

International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) accorded farewell reception to a group of visiting nursing professionals from University of Vancouver, Canada. The programme arranged at the conference hall reviewed activities of community trip of the group arranged under existing collaboration agreement with IUBAT. The nursing students visited number of hospitals, clinics and healthcare centres to see for themselves the on-going practices and overall nursing operation at the grass root level.

The Vancouver nursing students on arrival in Bangladesh integrated their activities with IUBAT College of Nursing. They attended classes, lab demos and involved in case study.

Ms Susan Storney MecNeil, leader of the visiting nursing internees, wrapped up her experience saying that the nurses in Bangladesh have to perform their responsibilities within unfavourable working conditions, having lot of constraints and limitations.

Professor M Alimullah Miyan, Vice Chancellor of IUBAT thanked the team members for endurance and professional spirit demonstrated by them in grass-root level activities.

The programme was attended among others by faculties, practitioners and students of IUBAT College of Nursing.
