Indomitable Children

They were sheltered under a tree, while the rains swept through the lands flooding the field in Sherpur by the Mrigi river. The rain stopped, and the boys claimed their childhood once again, racing through the flood against each other, leaving behind their herds of sheep and goats. They are shepherds on a daily basis with a lot of responsibility that has made them more mature than their age. Yet, the children in them come out every chance they get.

Mohammed Rakibul Hasan had taken up photography as his profession since 2002. He is of the opinion that there are not enough photography competitions to promote the trade and the ones affiliated with it on a national scale. The Celebrating Life Competition to him is a platform that spreads awareness and gathers photographers from every corner of the nation.
