Competition has always been important in society since the beginning of time. There is always a winner at the finish line, and that position is achieved only through giving it all you've got. These men in the picture are no different: they want only to win. Winning brings recognition, something that cannot be taken but must be earned. Giving up has never been an option for them, nor the people of our country.

Md. Yousuf Tushar is an accomplished professional photographer with 30 national awards under his belt. He has been a photographer since 1991, and was sure that he would win an award with this picture. He says that the Celebrating Life Competition is very useful as it brings all types of photographers on one platform, and promotes the profession. He hopes that the organizers will carry on with their exemplary work in the future.
